A town becomes considerably more interesting once people start doing things in it.

Cats Hollow has plenty of places to spend an afternoon, but they were never meant to be admired from a polite distance. The yoga studio has mats for a reason. The Tai Chi Gazebo is rather more useful with people in it, and Georgianna’s Reading Nook becomes an even better place once somebody brings along a book and starts a conversation.

Some activities are organised by the town, others by residents — and we would very much like to see more of the latter.

If you live in Cats Hollow and have an idea of your own, you are welcome to make use of what is already here. Perhaps you would like to teach a yoga class, start a regular group, organise a workshop or invite your neighbours to something you simply enjoy doing. We have spaces, furniture and equipment for quite a few things already, and if something sensible is missing, come and talk to us. You don’t need to wait for Town Hall to invent something first.

This page is where we’ll collect activities happening around Cats Hollow — regular gatherings, classes, clubs and the occasional idea somebody decided to try.

If you would like to organise something yourself, please do. A town is much more fun when its residents help fill the calendar.
